Pros and cons of Toddler animal pointing book app for iPhone and iPad

Toddler animal pointing book app good for

This Ap is great for my 15month old who is learning to use the iPad and who is still too young for other Aps. It is a great first Ap. I downloaded the full version. The cute sounds and movements keep her attention. Thanks!
Lovely artwork, very colorful and eye-catching to kids. They will love this artbook. Nice.
This is by far the BEST app I found for babies... I was looking for something that would entertain my 12 months old and all the other applications are way too advanced and complex. This one perfect for the youngest... Its funny, very very easy to use... My baby loves it and has great fun with it!! Thank you :) its really well designed.

Some bad moments

This game has an awful interface and it is severely hindered by the purchase full version screen. I dont care about paying for apps but sometimes I wont on principle alone when the developer lacks any sort of respect for the end user. Also $1.99 is too much for what it is.
This app makes it Way too easy for kids to buy addons! Dont download unless you are supervising your child.
My son enjoys finding and pointing to the animals. One thing I do not understand... Why does the cow poop?
The app looks very cute but as a home visits teacher I couldnt let some of my kids play with this app, not because the cow poops when you touch it but because some of the animals or most of the animals featured do not have the sounds that match to it. One of the birds sounded like a turkey! Lol! Overall it was cute but not what I need it for, thanks anyway... :)
I got this app about 6 months ago when my daughter was 12 months old. She loved it the. And continues to enjoy exploring the different scenes and touching all the animals. There are a couple changes in the latest version i dont like. The app used to rotate to stay face up even if you held the iPad upside down but the no longer does that. Second, anytime you exit the app (which my toddlers hands do quite often) the entire thing restarts with the developer logo. It used to just return to where you left off. Finally, the menu now has a big banner advertising other games and soliciting feedback. My daughters chubby fingers keep touching it, so this necessitates me sitting with her while she plays and making sure she can get into the different scenes!! Bummer.
My granddaughter has a terrific time playing this application. Especially likes the barnyard scene with the cow & chickens.
